  • How much does it cost to participate?
    Absolutely nothing. The kit trial is free — we just ask for honest feedback and that you return the kit in good condition.
  • Who is eligible to sign up?
    If you’re a therapist, counselor, educator, or public health worker supporting people in sensory or emotional regulation needs — you’re eligible. If you’re unsure, reach out!
  • What’s in the kit?
    Each kit varies slightly, but expect a mix of discreet fidgets, tactile tools, and calming aids — all curated for versatility across age groups and settings.
  • What happens after the week is up?
    If you are in the Auckland area we will pick up the kit & feedback directly from you, if your outside Auckland you’ll send the kit back using the included return label. If you're keen to integrate tools long-term, we can recommend options based on what worked for your setting.
  • Can I request specific tools for the trial?
    There’s a core rotation to keep things fair, but feel free to mention any specific needs in your contact form — we’ll do our best to customise.
  • Can multiple people in my organization try it?
    Definitely! We encourage team-based trials & can extend the trial so all your team members can give it a try. Just be sure it is returned as a complete set.
  • I forgot my password, how can I reset it?
    If you forgot your password, you can reset it by clicking on the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page. Follow the instructions to reset your password and regain access to your account.
  • How can I update my account details?
    To change your details, log in to your account and navigate to the 'Account Settings' section. From there, you can update your personal information such as name, email, and address.
  • What is your Online Return Policy?
    We believe strongly in our products and their quality and want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are disappointed in any way we would like to know. Please see our Return and Refund Policy.
  • How can I contact customer support?
    You can reach our customer support team by filling out the contact form on our website. Our team will assist you with any queries or concerns you may have.
  • How do I place an order?
    To place an order, simply browse our products, select the items you wish to purchase, and proceed to the checkout page. Follow the prompts to enter your shipping and payment details to complete the order.
  • Can I get shipping updates?
    All goods are dispatched from our office in Auckland, New Zealand and are delivered by track and trace courier, where possible. At the time of collection from our office you should receive an email with your track and trace link. The email will also include instructions on who to contact if you are not happy with your delivery.
  • Where can you deliver orders?
    New Zealand customers - 5sensesKit offers free shipping on orders over NZD$120 & a flat fee of NZD$5.55 on orders under that limit. Overseas customers - 5sensesKit is still propagating our site, for specific assistance, please contact us and we can update shipping to your country.
  • What is the estimated shipping time for orders from 5sensesKit?
    New Zealand - orders from 5sensesKit typically take 3-5 business days for delivery. Overseas - orders from 5sensesKit typically take 6-10 business days for delivery. Please note: We expect slower that usual delivery times during peak holiday times ie Black Friday Sales & Christmas lead up. 5sensesKit will package your order within 24hrs of placing order.
  • Is there an additional charge for rural deliveries?
    Yes, unfortunately couriers charge a rural delivery fee which, as a small business starting out, we must on-charge to our customers. Please ensure you select the correct rural delivery option when purchasing your items with 5sensesKit.
  • What is the Unboxed/Boxed options mean?
    To save on shipping, we can ship your order with the kit removed from the box (unboxed) or shipped in the box.
  • How do I make changes to my order?
    Changes to the contents can be made by you at any point whilst placing your order. Once you have confirmed your order and made payment, we regret to advise that no changes can be made to the contents of the order. If you have selected the incorrect products, please review our returns procedures. Once the order has been completed, there is a limited opportunity to cancel the order with us. If you wish to do this, please contact our Customer Care Team on the below contact form. Please note, even at this time we are unable to guarantee successful cancellation of the order and advise that you check your order carefully before you confirm.
  • What if an item is out of stock?
    At this time we can't guarantee when we will be getting new stock and as a new small NZ business we may not get all sizes of the products in. If you have any specific sizes or requests please contact us using the below contact form and 5sensesKit will endeavour to order in the required stocks.
  • What payment types do you offer?
    You can pay for purchases using Visa or MasterCard through the Stripe online portal or Paypal. We do not accept EFTPOS cards, cheques or money orders online.
  • Can I ship to multiple addresses?
    We are unable to ship to multiple shipping addresses per order. If you would like to ship to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each unique delivery address.
  • I am having some issues on the site. What advice can you give me to successfully place my order?
    Please contact us below with details of your issues and we will identify how to overcome any issues you may be experiencing.
  • How will you confirm my order?
    When your order is received, we'll send you an email confirming your order. If for any reason you have not received this email, please check your spam or junk email folders before contacting us on the below contact form.
  • How can I change my delivery address?
    Once an order has been placed, providing it has not been booked on a courier, you can contact us to arrange a new delivery address. We will try to accommodate any changes required but once it is with the courier (usually within 24 hours of purchase) we are unable to make changes. We advise you to take extra care when selecting your delivery address.
